1. 1 Check your network connection. Look at the system tray and ensure the network icon shows you are connected. If not, connect to a Wi-Fi network or plug in an Ethernet cable.
2. 2 If you are connected but still get the error, try disconnecting and reconnecting. Click the network icon, select your network, and click 'Disconnect', then reconnect.
3. 3 Press Windows key + I to open Settings. Go to Network & internet and check if Airplane mode is turned on. If so, turn it off.
4. 4 If the issue is with a specific application, restart the application. Sometimes it doesn't detect the network change.
5. 5 If the error persists, run the Windows Network Diagnostics tool. Right-click the network icon in the system tray and select 'Troubleshoot problems'. Follow the prompts.
