1. 1 Restart your computer. Press Windows key, click Power, and select 'Restart'. This clears temporary network or driver glitches that might cause the error.
2. 2 Update the driver for the device involved (e.g., network adapter, printer). Press Windows key + X, select 'Device Manager', find the device, right-click, and select 'Update driver'. Choose 'Search automatically for drivers'. If no update is found, visit the manufacturer's website.
3. 3 If the error occurs during network file transfer, try disabling and re-enabling your network adapter. Press Windows key + X, select 'Network Connections', right-click your adapter, and select 'Disable'. Wait a few seconds, then right-click and select 'Enable'. This resets the network stack.
