1. 1 Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Task Manager. Go to the 'Details' tab and sort by 'Handles' or 'Semaphores' if available. Identify processes with a high number of handles. Right-click and select 'End task' to free up resources.
2. 2 Press Windows key + R, type 'regedit', and press Enter. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager. Look for a DWORD value named 'SemaphoreLimit'. If it doesn't exist, create it (right-click → New → DWORD (32-bit) Value). Set its value to a higher number, such as 4096 (decimal). This increases the system-wide semaphore limit.
3. 3 Restart your computer to apply the change.
4. 4 If the error persists, consider running the application under a different user account. Create a new user account in Settings → Accounts → Family & other users → Add account. Log in with that account and run the application.
5. 5 Also, run 'sfc /scannow' and 'DISM' to ensure system files are healthy.
