1. 1 Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager. Go to the 'Processes' tab and look for any processes that are using high CPU or disk. If you see a process that's stuck, right-click it and select 'End task'. This can help clear a stuck process that prevents shutdown.
2. 2 Press Windows key + X and select 'Windows Terminal (Admin)'. Run 'sfc /scannow' to check for system file corruption. This is a standard step to ensure system files are healthy.
3. 3 Run 'DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth' to repair the system image. This is more thorough and can fix issues that SFC can't.
