1. 1 Press Windows key + R to open the Run dialog. Type 'mdsched.exe' and press Enter. Choose 'Restart now and check for problems'. This runs Windows Memory Diagnostic to test your RAM for errors. Faulty RAM is a common cause of this BSOD, and this tool will tell you if your memory is failing.
2. 2 If the memory test finds errors, you need to replace the faulty RAM stick. If you have multiple sticks, test them one by one to find the bad one. If no errors, move to the next step.
3. 3 Press Windows key + X and select 'Device Manager'. Expand 'Display adapters', right-click your graphics card, and select 'Uninstall device'. Check 'Attempt to remove the driver software for this device' and click Uninstall. Then restart your PC. Windows will reinstall a basic driver. This removes any corrupted graphics driver that might be causing hardware interrupts to fail.
4. 4 After restart, go to Settings → Windows Update → Advanced options → Optional updates. Install any driver updates listed, especially for your chipset and graphics card. Updated drivers often fix hardware communication issues.
