1. 1 Press Windows key + R, type 'msinfo32', and press Enter. In System Information, check the 'Processor' field. Note the exact model and number of cores. This helps you verify that your system recognizes the correct CPU.
2. 2 Press Windows key + X and select 'Device Manager'. Expand 'Processors'. You should see multiple entries (one per core). If you see fewer than expected, or if any have a yellow exclamation mark, your CPU may not be properly installed or drivers are missing. Right-click each processor and select 'Update driver'.
3. 3 Press Windows key + R, type 'msconfig', and press Enter. Go to the 'Boot' tab, click 'Advanced options', and check 'Number of processors'. If it's set to a specific number, uncheck it to allow Windows to use all cores. Click OK and restart.
