1. 1 First, check your network connection. Press Windows key + I to open Settings, go to 'Network & Internet', and verify you're connected. If you're on Wi-Fi, try moving closer to the router or using an Ethernet cable for a more stable connection.
2. 2 If you're using a VPN, disconnect and reconnect. Sometimes VPN connections can drop and cause this error. Also, try pinging the server to see if it's reachable: press Windows key + R, type 'cmd', and press Enter. Type 'ping [server IP or hostname]' and press Enter. If you get replies, the server is reachable.
3. 3 If the server is reachable, try copying the file again. If the error persists, check if the server has enough disk space and permissions. You may need to contact your network administrator.
4. 4 If you're using OneDrive or another cloud service, check its status. Sometimes the service is down. You can also pause and resume syncing from the system tray icon.
5. 5 To prevent data loss, enable 'Offline Files' for network drives. Open Control Panel → 'Sync Center' → 'Manage offline files' → 'Enable offline files'. This caches files locally so you can work even when the network is down.
