1. 1 If you're an administrator, press Windows key + R, type "lusrmgr.msc", and press Enter. This opens Local Users and Groups. Double-click the user account, go to the "Account" tab, and click "Logon Hours".
2. 2 In the Logon Hours window, you'll see a grid. Select the hours you want to allow and click "Allow" or "Deny" accordingly. For example, to allow all hours, select all and click Allow. Click OK to save.
3. 3 If you're not an admin, contact your system administrator to request extended logon hours. They can adjust this in Active Directory or local policy.
4. 4 Alternatively, if you're using a domain account, the policy may be set in Active Directory. Ask your IT department to modify the account's logon hours.
5. 5 After changes, the user may need to log off and log back on. If the error occurs during a session, the user might be disconnected. They should log in during allowed hours.
