1. 1 Boot into Safe Mode to see if the error occurs. If it doesn't, a third-party driver is likely the cause. Use the same method as before: restart and press F8 or hold Shift and click Restart.
2. 2 In Safe Mode, open Device Manager and look for devices with a yellow exclamation mark. Right-click and uninstall any problematic drivers, especially for devices you recently used or unplugged. Restart your PC and let Windows reinstall them.
3. 3 If you recently installed new hardware or drivers, use System Restore to revert. Type 'rstrui' in the Run dialog (Win+R) and follow the prompts. This can undo recent changes that introduced the bug.
