1. 1 Check the paper tray: Pull out the paper tray and ensure it is not empty. Add more paper if needed, but do not overfill. Fan the paper to prevent sticking, and align it against the guides.
2. 2 Check for paper jams: Open the printer's access doors (front, back, or top) and look for any jammed paper. Gently pull out any paper you see, being careful not to tear it. If paper is torn, check deeper inside the printer.
3. 3 Ensure the paper tray is fully inserted: Sometimes the tray isn't pushed all the way in, causing the printer to think it's out of paper. Push the tray firmly until it clicks into place.
4. 4 Restart the printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on. This resets the printer's internal state and clears the error.
5. 5 Check printer settings: On your computer, go to Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners. Select your printer, click 'Open print queue', and cancel any stuck print jobs. Then try printing a test page.
