1. 1 Press Windows key + R, type 'sysdm.cpl', and press Enter. This opens System Properties. Go to the Advanced tab, and under Performance, click Settings. In the Performance Options, go to the Data Execution Prevention tab. Select 'Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only' and click Apply. This ensures DEP doesn't block the program's stack operations.
2. 2 If the program is a game, update your graphics drivers. Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager. Expand Display adapters, right-click your GPU, and select Update driver. Choose 'Search automatically for drivers'. Outdated drivers can cause memory issues.
3. 3 Run the program in compatibility mode. Right-click the program's executable, select Properties, go to the Compatibility tab, check 'Run this program in compatibility mode for', and select an older Windows version like Windows 8 or 7. Click Apply and OK.
4. 4 If the error persists, reinstall the program. Uninstall it via Settings → Apps → Installed apps, then download the latest version from the official website.
